CinemaDeck Critic Edward E. Chapman Releases His List of 10 Best Films of 2011

Movie news site CinemaDeck.com recently announced its list of the Ten Best Films of 2011, as selected by their staffs Head Film Critic Edward E. Chapman. Among the choices are Academy favorites such as The Artist and The Tree of Life as well as unconventional choices such as Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.
Chapman explains, When I made the decision about which films to include, I tried to look at all aspects of the movies not just the broader critical reaction to them, but where they came from, what their storytelling aims were, and how likely we are to be talking about them 20 years from now, adding, I tried to view the years films a bit more broadly than the Academy or the Hollywood Foreign Press Association might have, and I ended up including some films that they overlooked for their major nominations.
